| Make sure you do. |
[29 Jun 2004|10:44am] |
I would say these are dark times.
However, I cannot.
As it is summer.
And I would say these are things everyone had to go through.
Much like acne before a school ball.
Except that never happened to Draco.
Except no one else had to break the news to him.
Except no one else lost their Pansy.
So if you are reading this and you are alive.
Know that you are the one who should have died.

It appears I have given birth to something.
I generally do not like my pregnancy to take me by surprise.
My Patronus, it is alive.
Today, as I was demonstrating the horror that is my Patronus to Nott, it left my wand.
And then walked to us, and started talking.
Has this happened to anyone.
I am slightly concerned.
Theodore, however, is not.
The Patronus is currently standing next to me, providing light.
This is not at all disconcerting.
I am too shocked to be a mother.

[26 May 2004|02:10pm] |
For a change, I am going to talk about the NEWTs.
It is approaching.
It is also Summer.
I do not see the need to further explain why that is wrong.
But I will, anyway.
In Summer, there is sun.
18 hours of it, in case anyone else has been wondering why they are getting sunburnt in their sleep.
24 minus 18 is 6.
In Summer, there is 6 hours of un-sun.
6.
Six.
I am physically incapable of mental exertion while I am sticking to everything I am in unfortunate contact with.
Therefore, I am forced to cramp all my revision in the 6 hours.
Why?
Because the NEWTs are in Summer.
You know who else hates the sun?
Draco.
Why?
In Summer, Draco chafes.
And who I have to study with everyday in the hammock?
Draco, who chafes.
And who weighs next to nothing so the hammock is lop-sided and he ends up sitting on my knee until it falls asleep?
Draco, who chafes and cannot hold his own.
And who decides it best to conjure up a canopy of leaves around his head to block out the sun, and is very short and thus the leaves are actually there just to blind me?
Draco, who chafes and is small.
Therefore, the NEWTs should not be in Summer.
Any questions?
Keep it to yourself.

I had detention with Potter on Friday.
He thought it would be clever to get there fifteen minutes early.
It is too bad he showed up fifteen minutes before six instead of fifteen minutes before five.
Filch made me stay the extra hour also.
Even though I was there at five.
That Potter.
He is so helpful.
He liked to pretend he was sorry but I do not think that he was sorry until his head was in a bucket.
It is not my fault it fit in there so nicely.

Big match.
Little captain.
We practised until three a.m. Thursday.
He also left me these.
I am beginning to think I am killing myself at sport so Draco has some glory days to talk about in ten years.
You will note, I am up early.
Therefore, someone will pay.

My mother owled me today asking how I did for my N.E.W.T.s.
I told her I am getting married soon.
And that I plan to have several children, so that I would not notice if I lose any.
When will you come back.
You are welcome, too.

Draco is cranky because his birthday present died.
It is not my fault he decided to have a birthday party four months later so people would give him extra presents.
I bought it for his real birthday.
If he opened it then this would not be a problem.
His mother is trying to make me read self-help books.
I do not see why the Minister brings Weasley everywhere like his date.
Draco sulked.
Pansy shined.
I sat.
Finnigan tried to spy on me.
I sat on him by mistake.
Good times, good times.

Draco is fighting with Potter.
Potter is fighting with Granger.
Granger is fighting with Weasley.
Weasley is fighting with puberty.
My entertainment card is full.
This morning I saw Granger painting Macmillan's nails in the library.
I am hoping for a Hufflepuff fight.
Go, Eton, go.

Great portrait.
Great lesson.
I did not need a Cheering Charm.
That is not a good deed.
Therefore, Bones deserved to suffer.
I have had the hiccoughs for two days.
Did I deserve to suffer.
No.
I hate my neighbours.

Today has been such a good day. I had a long talk with Susan this morning and she actually cheered me up! She seems pretty apologetic about it so I suspect some sort of magic, but oh, I don't care!
I am sure I had too many of Pansy and Ron's biscuits, but they were very good. Susan and I made breakfast in bed for Lisa this morning. I thought it was only right to cheer her up after she has to deal with Draco. He can be so fickle! Lisa has very cute pyjamas. I'd like to have cuter pyjamas, now that I think about it. Perhaps I will look at the next Hogsmeade weekend. Maybe Susan can come with me.
Also, how cute does Terry Boot look today? Am I right? Seamus did such a good job. He has such good taste. He should have done something sooner. I sent Terry a note to tell him how good he looked but he hasn't answered me yet. I'm sure he's just busy!
Susan is taking good care of my badges. Draco made them for Pansy and me when we were five. If you want to know, they were the first badges he ever made. He was so small and ickle. He was always getting red because he was so pale. That's still true now, actually, now that I think about it. Really, he's just like a baby brother to me. I wonder if he wants to read Splendid tonight. That would be splendid, wouldn't it? L. O. L. We have such fun reading.
This week isn't turning out too badly, is it? It's actually sort of fun!

[08 Feb 2004|12:38am] |
I was going to make a society for violins over something.
I did not feel like coming up with the M. I. T.
No lessons Monday.
It is not so Draco can practise bulking me up.
And yet.
He had spinach.
He is in the trunk now.
Do not be alarmed.
The keyhole is big enough for air.
